SoundPrint Partners with GN
SoundPrint is excited to partner with GN to put their Nexia aids to a test in a variety of noisy settings. While it’s not always easy to find your quiet place, it can still be necessary to manage through noisy situations. SoundPrint data shows that over 50% of venues worldwide are too loud for conversation making exposure to these noise levels difficult for conversation and potentially dangerous for hearing health. So chances are, you frequently find yourself surrounded by unwanted noise.
In our collaboration with GN, four hearing aid users and influencers tried out both SoundPrint and ReSound Nexia in their day-to-day surroundings. Each influencer used the SoundPrint app to find a place and measure how loud the environment was. Once they found a loud environment, they put the Nexia hearing aids to the test and detailed their experiences on Youtube and Instagram.
Below are tidbits from each influencer discussing the noise issues they encountered and their experience with the Nexia hearing aids.. We also checked in with SoundPrint’s founder Gregory Scott to find out his reaction to wearing the Nexia hearing aids in noisy environments.
Lara Ricote, standup comedian (Los Angeles)
Watch Lara Ricote (@lararicote) talk about SoundPrint and her Nexia Hearing Aids HERE, she’s funny!
“I spend a lot of time in loud places because of my comedy career. I couldn’t hear what people were saying, it was uncomfortable and sometimes I thought: ‘I’d just rather leave than be in it’. But it’s really not an issue anymore. I’m really, really happy with these hearing aids and I feel lucky to have them. They have changed my life for the better, the sound is crisp, and I can hear people speak even when a venue is insanely loud.”
Blake Cadwell, co-founder and CEO of Soundly (Los Angeles)

Blake Cadwell puts ReSound Nexia Speech in noise performance to the test
“ReSound Nexia is one of the premium products on the market and the feature of these hearing aids that is most impressive to me is their handling in background noise situations. ReSound Nexia gets really strong marks in these difficult situations. I’m not going to choose to go to an extremely loud background noise environment every night, but it was fun to do this test and to see what these hearing aids are really capable of.”
Jacob Kulick, recording artist and producer (Nashville)
“There are challenges that I face on a daily basis and being able to hear in a loud, busy environment is always a challenge as well as fatigue from having to spend so much energy trying to remain focused enough to have a conversation. It is also socially isolating at times as I miss out on a lot of what is happening around me. As a musician, I’m always networking and at loud venues but ReSound Nexia work really well in that environment, especially on stage with the monitors, the singing and the guitar.”
Julie Slavin, DJ and radio personality (New York)

“I get to DJ parties all over the world. Surprisingly it’s not the music I have trouble with, it’s talking to people in a loud environment. But with the right tech, I don’t have to compromise on how I do my job or how I enjoy life.”
Gregory Scott, founder and CEO of SoundPrint (New York)
“The new Nexia hearing aids are fantastic and have an amazing ability to help the user decipher sounds in noisy environments. Makes a big difference in being able to connect with dining collations. We are proud/excited to partner with resound and the (influencers) to raise hearing health awareness and show how effective these hearing aids are.”
